Our Graduate Certificate Program in Software Engineering has now been approved by the University Course and Curriculum Committee, and we have accepted our first students. Software engineering is the application of science, mathematics and a disciplined process to the problem of making computers useful via software. Our Certificate program in Software Engineering offers a focused education on the software engineering skills necessary to succeed in the dynamic field of software development. The certificate targets those professionals with an interest in learning about software engineering, but without the intent to pursue a graduate degree in software engineering. It is also appropriate for graduate students in other disciplines who would like to add software engineering to their skill set.
