Hot Dog Sales
The ACM, is
selling hotdogs on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 to raise club funds. Please stop by and support our efforts or volunteer to man the grill for part of the day.

Computer Merit Badge Instruction
The ACM, is
looking for members to volunteer to teach the computer merit badge for boy scouts during their weekend camporee. The scouts will arrive at Butler Hall on Saturday, November 7, 2009 and transition to various stations to complete the requirements for the merit badge.
If you are interested please email Dr. Dampier to receive more information, to sign up, and to help these scouts with the computer merit badge and potentially encourage them into computer science fields.

Membership Drive
The ACM, is
always looking at increasing our membership numbers
if you are interested please see Dr. Dampier,
to pay membership fees and become involved with our chapter.
We are planning on conducting a membership drive during regular school hours in the Butler lobby.
For new members: Membership fee is $20 for the year with a free T-shirt
Already a member: Membership fee is $10 for the year
New members can also sign up by coming to Butler 326 at any time.

Programming Competition
The ACM Fall Programming Competition was held on October 9, 2009. We had a total of 19 participants coding in C++, Python, and Java. The event was a great success and the ACM selected a great team for regional competition. Many thanks to Dr. Dandass, Dr. Dampier and other volunteers for facilitating and organizing this competition.
