Eric Hansen is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Mississippi State University. He received an A.B. degree in Philosophy from Harvard University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Professor Hansen's research interests are in the area of artificial intelligence and include heuristic search; decision-theoretic planning using Markov decision processes; and game-theoretic approaches to multi-agent planning.
