This course will discuss advanced areas in the area of scientific visualization. The course will focus on understanding recent advances in volume and vector visualization. By the end of the course, a student will be able to analyze a data set in order to determine which visualization methods are most appropriate, be able to compare and constrast the strength of different visualization approaches, and be compentent in implementing those approaches.
