Thanks for visiting my web page.  I am a William L. Giles Distinguished Professor and the Associate Vice President for Research at Mississippi State University.  I previously served as Professor and Department Head of Computer Science and Engineering.    I joined MSU in October 1997 to work in the areas of Software Engineering and Computer Security after retiring from a 26 year career with the Army.  I also managed the computer security scholarship program at MSU where Juniors or above can apply for full ride scholarships to study Information Assurance (see www.sfs.opm.gov and  http://www.security.cse.msstate.edu/scholarships.shtml for more information on these opportunities).
